Radical Alcohol Marble

I'm an 80's child. I wore neon on the regular. I crimped my hair. I had L.A. Gear sneakers. Basically, I was as cool as legally allowed. Because of the era I grew up in, tacky neons have a place near-and-dear to my heart. Every time they come back into fashion, I gleefully rub my hands together and go hunting for the perfect bright accessory. We are currently (sadly) in the trough of the never ending neon ocean, so I had to make do.

This is actually the first time I've managed to get the alcohol marble to work on all of my fingers. When this technique first made a splash, I gave it a tester on a few fingers and it worked flawlessly. I forgot about it for a while, because shiny things, and then tried it again. I couldn't get it to go! I think it might have been the polishes I was trying to use, because the neons did less-well than the white cream here (sadly). The white turned out so smashingly that I am actually ok with how poorly the neons behaved. It really turned out better than I could have hoped.

Colors Used:
China Glaze Liquid Leather
OPI Alpine Snow
China Glaze Rose Among Thorns
China Glaze I'm With the Lifeguard

Now that I have (re)discovered this, I definitely have a few plans for this technique. Of course, it will be applied over a gradient at some point...how could I not?
