Negative space is a big thing this year, and when my nails are horribly yellow, I do enjoy the look. For this, I broke out some nail vinyls that a friend sent to me and started sticking them around. I really need more of these things, y'all. They are wonderful. But they will pick up your base coat if you aren't careful. Let's not look too closely at my ring finger, ok? After my vinyls were applied, I did some painting and some seriotyping. I definitely have two different sorts of manicure here, but I rather enjoy that.
You may notice that my nails look unusually glossy...well, aside from my normal Seche Vite, I have some UV-cured gel on my nails. I cracked a nail, and I figured I might as well give these a test. Things are going...interestingly. I can't decide how I feel about them as-yet, but I promise a full review soon.
This go-round definitely went better than my last try. No needle dragging for me, thank-you very much. I will stick to seriotypes for a while.
Why don't you check out what some other lovely bloggers did with their three shades of purple:
