Vapid Lacquer California Jelly Holos

Just when you thought the Vapid Lacquer spam was done...I come bringing more! Today I am sharing the excessively teased California Jelly Holo collection. Being a native Californian...well, it just seems right that I should share these.

(promotional samples ahead)

This rainbow of squishy, holo goodness has six shades. For all of these swatches, I used three average coats plus a layer of Seche Vite. These do dry a little bit on the satin side...which can be a look all on its own, but I like that shine and it helps to emphasize the squish. I am not going to gush about the polishes individually because I think that these are so well done and consistent that I really can get away with making a "blanket statement" for these. I was really impressed with the overall consistency when it came to this collection, and I can definitely see these being a staple of mine for the summer months.

Pacific Coast Highway
This is a peppy, bright, electric rose jelly holo. It applied smoothly, and was totally opaque in three coats.

Pismo
This is a cheery orange jelly holo. It reminded me of orange Otter Pops, which of course gets it bonus points in my book. The formula was smooth and I used three coats for the pictures below.

Doheney
This is a vivid, lemony jelly holo. It was definitely more on the sheer side, but the lightness of color lended it an extra level of squish. Again, the formula was great and I used three coats here.

T Street
This is the perfect tropical foliage green jelly holo. It was just great to apply, and in person my nail line was almost invisible. The formula was the bee's knees, and I used three coats here.

Salt Creek
This is another tropical shade, but now in a lovely warm aqua. It applied super smooth and I used three coats for

1000 Steps
In a stunning turn of events that should surprise no one, I am in love with a fuschia/violet shade. This was the most opaque of the sextet. For the sake of uniformity, I used three coats here.

This collection is available in Full Size and Schmedium sizes. They will be available for purchase in the Vapid Shop on May 21st @1pm central time. If you can swing it, I definitely recommend all six. The rainbow is so pretty, and just too perfect to miss out on. But if you can only grab one, and you want to listen to the most biased person on earth me, grab a full sized 1000 Steps. I promise, you'll be glad you did.
