I'm charging on with the 40 Great Nail Art Ideas prompts! It is pretty tricky, but I love it. I have made some rather...questionable designs, and some others I just love. This go-round, I've made something soft and subtle and delightfully spot-on.

I picked up the nude here at a discount grocery store for around a buck. I think that is a perfectly delightful price for this shade. Its nice, but nothing special. I did a very high gradient with the blue. I wanted it to be reminiscent of a half-moon manicure. Then I reached into my untried drawer and pulled out this wonderful glitter topper. I have been saving it for the right manicure...and I think this is it. Is there anything more classic than a gradient + glitter?
There is something oceanic about this manicure. It might be the green shade that the iridescent glitters give off, or the softness that the blue takes on once it is blotted on. I don't quite know, but I am very pleased.
