Ellison's Organics Everything is so Shiny • Polish Pickup November 2017 • Fandoms

You guys...Polish Pickup is back, with a vengeance. The theme this month is "Fandoms" and holycowyouguys, this month things are serious. I have six shades to share this week, and they are pretty amazing.

Ellison's Organics Everything is so Shiny • Polish Pickup November 2017 • Fandoms

(promotional samples ahead)

This is a soft, shimmering guava shade filled with twinkling shifty flakes. It is pretty and delicate and effervescent, just like the inspiration. It is actually on trend for hair color this Fall too, though I can't seem to get my hair this guava/peachy shade. If there was a way for this polish to smell like flowers and engine grease, it would be flawless. (please no. I'm being hyperbolic guys.) The formula is slightly sheer, to let those shifting flakes glow in each coat. I used two medium coats here, followed by a layer of Seche Vite, and I think it was just right.

The inspiration for this pretty little polish is Kaylee from Firefly and her wonderfully flouncy shindig dress. It is exactly dead-on, in this nerds opinion. It is pretty and soft and dynamic, just like Kaylee. I don't think I could have come up with a more perfect and unexpected Firefly polish if I tried. I kinda need a whole Firefly collection inspired by the ladies of Firefly. Can you imagine?!

This shade, and I don't even know how many others this month maybe a thousand, will be available this weekend. The sale starts Friday and runs until Monday, so I would start making your lists now! In the meantime, you can check out some other delights from Ellison's Organics at Lantern & Wren. Be warned, you will want 345 things from that shop. They have pretty much everything.

  1. Gorgeous color! I have this one on my list - not because of the fandom but because I love Carleigh...and because the color is beautiful. :)
