Baroness X Stone Fox • Polish Pickup October 2017 • Monsters & Myths

My second swatch for the Polish Pickup this month. Its a Halloween miracle! Today it is a shade very close to my heart, and hopefully you'll enjoy it as well as I did.

(promotional samples ahead)

This is Stone Fox from Baroness X. She was inspired by the oft maligned Medusa, the most stunning of all the Gorgons. She is a blue holo with teal edges, a electric pinky glow and pink iridescent flakes. She is creamy and easy to apply, and I used two coats plus a layer of Seche Vite for these pictures. I love the deepening teal at the periphery, it is almost like the pink glow is emerging from shadows.

Here's Medusa. She's understandably angry. Can you imagine the trouble she has finding the right shampoo?

If you are a longtime fan of mine, you may faintly recall another Gorgon inspired polish from Baroness X. Back in October 2015, Demi and I teamed up to create a special Halloween custom: Euryale. We both agreed that should be a unique shade, but it was so lovely that we couldn't let it die. So Demi, being the genius that she is, gave it a new life. I think this one is better than the original.
