Blush Lacquers | A Color4Nails Exclusive Duo

(promotional samples ahead)

Snow Squall
This is a murky olive polish filled with icy flakes and dusted with holo twinkle. It has a warm coppery-red flash at certain angles. It is very shifty in more romantic lighting, showing a lizardy green glow. Olive, or military, greens are always big in the Fall. They come right back every year, and I am usually not a fan. But this color is so complex that I find it delightfully wearable. The formula certainly doesn't hurt. It is almost a jelly, and it flows easily from the paddle-shaped brush. I did no cleanup here, yall. None. I did use three coats followed by a layer of Seche Vite for these pictures though.

Arctic Chill
This is a cadet blue holo filled with multichrome flakes with a brilliant saturated sky blue shift. It reminds me of a foggy day here on the coast, and I may take this on a field trip to demonstrate one of these days. Because a grown-ass woman taking nail polish on a field trip is totally not weird at all. It applies smoothly, somehow even nicer than Snow Squall. I used three coats plus a layer of Seche Vite, but if you don't have crazy-long nails like I do right now you would be fine with two.

This duo is available right now at Color4Nails. I think that, if you can only buy one, Snow Squall is a must-have shade for Fall. It is spot on, trend-wise and soso easy to wear. And while you're waiting for the pretties to arrive, make sure you head to PolishCon in Chicago and say hello to Ms Victoria for me. She will be there with lots of shiny new things to behold.
