Emily de Molly Anniversary Trio

Happy Anniversary to Emily de Molly! I know, I know...I'm a tiny bit tardy. I can't seem to catch up these days. I need a week or a month to get back into the swing of things. Until that mythical day, heres some tardy-but-wonderful swatches!

Emily de Molly Anniversary Trio

(promotional samples ahead)

Dusks Remaining Light
This is a warm, autumnal multichrome with a shimmering metallic finish. It applies like it is made of magic and unicorns. No, I mean it. I bet it even stamps too, though I haven't had time to test it out. It is super smooth to apply, and I would definitely put it in the "quick-but-fabulous manicure" category. I used two coats plus a layer of Seche Vite for the pictures below.

Overcast Quartz
This is a pale, cool blushing iris with a ridiculous amount of iridescent flakes and a strong copper shimmer. It is the exact color of fairy wings...if you plucked them off and ground them up. Maybe that is what they do in Australia? The formula is a bit on the dense side, because of all the flakes, and I would recommend two medium coats. I used three thin coats here, followed by a layer of Seche Vite.

Room For More
Do you love neon, but want something softer? This is your shade. It is a soft electric lime with a copper shimmer and a sprinkle of silver flakes. It is creamy and easy to apply for such an opaque shade, which surprised the hell out of me. I was fully expecting this one to be a beast...but I was wrong. Again. I don't know things. I bet it would stamp too. I ended up using two coats plus a layer of Seche Vite here.

This trio is lovely. The range is so broad, that there is something for everyone here. Or maybe just one person who can't decide what sort of mood she's in when she picks out colors...like me.  Or you?
