Powder Perfect Camelot Collection

Powder Perfect does classic collections so well. And when you put a chivalrous inspiration together with that level of perfection...well, you get these five little bottles of magic. It almost makes me want to re-read the old stories. Almost. Instead, I'll just paint my nails for a while.

Powder Perfect Camelot Collection

(promotional samples ahead)

Morgan le Fey
This is a super crazy metallic garnet with a wild amount of golden holo covering everything. If I were ever to assume that polish was actually a magical potion, this would be the first polish I would test. It is silky smooth and glides across my nail like a cloak on the air (I am totally feeling the spooky witch vibe, yall). I used two coats plus a layer of Seche Vite for the pictures here.

Lancelot
Have you ever had a favorite polish that you thought nothing could ever top? And then one day you find something that is "favorite++" and your world is changed forever. Lancelot is that polish for me. This gleaming duochrome shifts from wheat gold to soft olive, and is covered in holo. I am really loving the metallic vibe of this whole collection. The formula is pretty great, and a steady hand could make this shade a one-coater. I used two here, plus a layer of Seche Vite.

King Arthur
This velvety midnight blue is sprinkled with a universe of silvery holo sparkles. This would make a great base for a Milky Way manicure (filing this away for later). The formula was super great and smooth, and I probably could do this one in a single coat if I tried. As it was, I used two plus a layer of Seche Vite.

Guinevere
This one is kind-of a gimme. Of course I'm going to love a vampy plum with a whole bunch of sparkle. How could I not? This polish will be seeing a lot of activity this summer, I can guarantee you that. I try not to play favorites for the sake of objectivity, but I reallyreallyreally like this one. The formula was as sweet as the polish is pretty, and I used two average coats followed by a layer of Seche Vite for these pictures.

Excalibur
Where would a Camelot collection be without a shade named after maybe the most famous sword ever? This polish does its namesake justice, because it is amazing. This deep pewter glitterpocalypse is dusted with holo sparkle and iridescent glitters. This is the thickest of all the polishes, and it will dry with a slight texture if you don't apply top coat. It covers nice and evenly, and I used two coats plus a layer of Seche Vite for these pictures.
