Damn It, I Had Something For This: Part Two | An Archer Inspired Collection from Lemming Lacquer

Lemming Lacquer is back at it! Making us giggle and blush with eight more Archer inspired shades that are somehow even better than the previous set. I don't know how she does it...but she did it twice.

(promotional samples ahead)

Crack Whore Red
So...omfg. Are you looking for a glorious, perfectly vampy red? How about one with a sexy satiny pearl? Well...then stop right here. This is slinkly lingerie for your nails and I am over the damned moon. It is smooth and sleek, and the pearly-metallic finish gives minimal brush strokes. Because the metallic underbelly, I recommend medium coats of this when applying. I did notice a slight tint to my nails once I removed this, but it came off with my next swatch. If you, like me, are prone to staining from rich reds, I think doubling the base would protect you. I used two medium coats plus a layer of Seche Vite here.

Just The Tip
(total time spent giggling in my house at this polish: 25 minutes) This peachy neutral is a great alternative to the traditional pinky-fleshtoned shades. It is deliciously holo, and applies like a dream. It also kinda wears like iron on me. When this arrived, after I giggled a few minutes, I applied one coat to my index finger...no topper nor base. It wore like that for four days before it chipped. For these pictures I used two coats plus a layer of Seche Vite.

My Earballs
This warm violet jelly is filled with candy colored circle glitters. It is the most fun thing ever. I am a sucker for circle glitters, so pretty much anytime I get them I am a happy camper. These are wonderfully dense in the base, though I do recommend swirling the brush a bit to achieve maximum polka-dot-ification. I swatched this on a 95% humidity day (and 60F yay summer), and even though the weather thickened the base, I still was able to get the look below with two easy coats and a layer of Seche Vite.

Newp
Oh lemony goodness. I was horribly disappointed that this polish didn't smell like fresh cut lemons...ok not really because I abhor scented polish. But this color is so bright and sunshiny that I would almost consider making an exception. The formula is lovely, and everything slides easily together on my nail. I used two coats plus Seche Vite for these photos.

Not Enough Liquor and Therapy in the World
Squishy, jelly, creamy...sigh. This inky plum shade is going to be the base for so many glorious things...I can see it already. This is my kind of summer color. Deep, dark, and yet luminous. Because of the jelly-esque finish, this baby needs to be applied in medium coats to get the best finish. I used two medium coats plus Seche Vite for these photos.

Sploosh
Are you looking for that perfect warm aqua holo? Well...feel free to stop right here. This is the sploosh-worthy shade of your dreams. I forgot to take macros because my camera died...so you'll have to bring this sucker home to see the icy blue flakes whispering to you from just below the surface. The formula is creamy and delightful, and I only needed two normal coats plus a layer of Seche Vite for these photos.

Tactleneck
Do you need holo in every shade...of black? Of course you do. This inky blackened teal is definitely leaning towards a greenish black. It is so sparkly that my camera could not even and half of the pictures came out looking a bit like an exploding disco ball. Needless to say, I'm slightly in love here. The formula is wonderful and I only needed two coats plus a layer of Seche Vite for these photos.

That's How You Get Ants
This might be the most oft-paraphrased saying from any modern cartoon ever. EVER. This deep raspberry holo is infused with multichrome flaky goodness. I swear I also see some iridescent flakes swimming about in there too. I applied a bit thick for me (I think mostly because of the aforementioned weather. I mentioned this the Miss Cassie, Queen of the Lemmings, and she is on the case.) I used two coats plus Seche Vite here, but I think I will go for one medium coat next time.
