What would a holiday be without a little something special from the Baroness? This Valentine's Day, how about spending some quality time with what is really important: your hands and nails. What, you thought I was going to say your loved ones? Pfffft, you must be new here.
(promotional samples ahead)
This soft, cool rose colored holo is filled with flakes and holo glitter. It sparkles even in the softest candle light. It definitely reminds me of something refined and Victorian...though that might be the fact that I am listening to YouTube videos about Victorian era social norms. That isn't weird at all. But back to this gloriously squishy polish: it applies easily and opaquely in two coats.
This polish was part of the "Inspired by a Picture" series that started over on My Lacquer Cabinet, which is now spreading across the blogiverse. I love the idea, and I might someday appropriate it myself!
Again, I wish the sunshine were accessible today. It's out there, but my patio/natural light studio is currently in transition to a swamp. Thanks El Nino. I didn't need to go outdoors without boots on...nope. Once again, my flash will have to suffice.
These are a new product from the Baroness X. They are a solid bubbly hand scrub that travel a little easier than your typical sugar hand scrub. These are sweetly scented with the Sweet Wine scent, which is a wonderfully sweet rosy scent that I cannot get enough of.
Also included in this set is a Wine & Roses scented sample of the wonderful Swatcher's Balm. If anything, the formula gets better and better with each batch. Matte, moisturizing, and magnificent.
This set is a bit on the limited edition side. Only the first 40 people who order the polish got all the extra goodies...but I think these will all be available separately soon (if not already). You should come join the group so you can keep up with restocks!
