Baroness X 2016 Valentine's Trio

Baroness X has gone out for the holiday of love this year. She has this bright, loud, happy trio for the noisier folk (like me) and something a little more sophisticated and mature that I'll share tomorrow. Today, let's check out the crazier shades of love.

Baroness X 2016 Valentine's Trio
(promotional samples ahead)

Go Through Fire
This is a bright cool creamy neon pink with a holo twinkle and a gold shimmer. It is crazy-bright, and totally off-the-wall when it comes to your typical Valentine's pink. Of course, I adore it. It was wonderfully opaque in two coats.

Crazy in Love
Ok, so if you feel like you are lacking in the romanticism then this is for you. A lustily full glitter topper stuffed to the gills with hearts, micro circles, small hexes all inside a shimmering iridescent base. Wow. I used two very thin coats for these pictures below...and yeah. I am itching to see how it will look when it is sponged on!

Hold Up the Sky
This is a pale turquoise jelly holo, filled with twinkling holo glitters. It is the perfect pan-seasonal shade. It is totally appropriate for all occasions...at least I think so. I used two medium coats here, but I think three thin coats would be best.

I have to admit that I had a tiny hand in this collection. Not in the designing nor the color direction...but the names. As some of you know, I'm a huge video game fan. Well...Fallout 4 came out for the Playstation 4 in November and I finally got my hands on it post-Christmas. There is a song that is in the new game, and it's predecessor, by Billie Holiday that I absolutely love. The Baroness and I were chatting one day, and she mentioned not being able to come up with good names for her Valetine offerings...so I sent her a link to the song from the game. It was just perfect!
Check it out!

And there it is. I am always happy to sneak a little bit of nerdery into your normal lives! Especially since this collection is so pretty and wearable, even if you don't like video games.

This collection is available in mini size (which I have here and adore) and the full size. Which shade is your favorite?
