HPB Presents: Neon Nebula Nails

promotional samples ahead

This year has been all about new things. New things are sometimes superawesome fun. Like this nail-art link-up from a bloggers facebook group that I joined. Their last art-prompt was drool worthy for me, and I didn't want to miss the next one, especially when I saw that it was neons!

I have loved galaxy/space/nebula nails for a very long time. Anyone who read PGS knows that, most likely. And of course, I love neons...so when I got the chance to put them together, I jumped on that as fast as I could! I must admit, I am pretty damned thrilled with how it turned out.

Neons are nothing without a blacklight...and we all know I look for any excuse to break mine out. It was definitely tricky to get the glow of these shades without either turning myself purple or blowing my camera out. It is these times when I am truly thankful I took photography classes, because being able to wade through manual-mode is really helpful.

And there we are! My first truly neon nebula (god I love a good alliteration) and my first link-up party shenanigans. How did I do? Hopefully, I haven't broken anything...
