Glam Polish Wicked Intent: A Limited Edition Collection

promotional samples ahead

Does anyone else feel butterflies...or bats...in their stomach when Halloween starts creeping closer? I definitely do, even though my costumes have devolved into silly masks or wild lipstick. At least I can still go overboard with nail polish! And Glam Polish is there to enable me in the best possible way.

Glam Polish Wicked Intent Collection

This collection is called Wicked Intent and it will be available on 4 September, 2015 at 6pm (eastern. Hooray for us!) It is a six piece collection of gleefully wicked ultra holo shades that are just right for easing us into the Halloween season...and yes. If Christmas can start in September, so can Halloween!

Despair
Despair is a deep plummy holo filled with shimmer and holo micro-glitter. I barely needed two coats for complete opacity. I bet that a heavier hand could get an solid coat in one go. This one has such a neat fuchsia flash...I ended up wearing this for two days. You know how I feel about fuchsia.

Forebode
That vamp. Forebode is a deep warm wine holo shade dusted with holo glitters. Again, two paper-thin coats plus the Magic Shine topper and I was ready to rock. And again...I think a thicker coat would be opaque in one go...especially if you don't have a lot of free edge. In the sun, this is a show-stopper...just like all Glam shades though. That holo jumps right out and smacks you. Plus, I declare this shade SFW. It is the most grown-up of all superduperholos.

Hostile
Oh Hostile, I think I love you. This is a spruce green holo with a tasteful splattering of holo microglitter. The formula is just like the two previous shades: perfect two coater. I am not sure how the witches of Glam do this...but I hope they never quit. There is a strange pinky flash to this shade that is pretty sneaky on the nail. I only caught it at extreme angles and never in a picture-friendly lighting. You can see it in the bottle, so you'll just have to take my word for it about the rest...

Malice
Malice is a cool blackened violet with a greenish flash and more holo than previously thought humanly possible. I am running out of creative ways to say this is a great formula guys...this was another two-coater for me. In the sun it was just dazzling. I forced everyone in my house to come watch my fingers wiggle in the sunshine. Something is wrong with them, because they were not appropriately impressed.

Sinister
Sinister is a practically perfect cerulean blue holo with a pale iris shift. I used barely two coats for this one...and ended up wearing it for several days. (It ended up being my goodluckatthedentist polish) Unfortunately I initially applied this on a foggy day...and in an effort to refresh my three-day-old mani I slapped on a layer of SV. Rookie mistake because that bastard shrunk on me! You'll see it in the "sunshot" which, by the way, I had to crouch on the corner of my living room sofa to catch the last five minutes of sunshine before the sun sunk below the bay. Commitment to the holo, I has it.

Torment
Ughhh Torment. Let me paint myself with you. This is a cool purply indigo holo with a pronounced blue shift and a twinkling of holo glitter. Two whisper-thin coats (again) and I was a happy girl. This shade makes me feel...devious. Like I need stiletto nails and super arched brows...If I were going to be a super villain, my costume would definitely match this polish.
