Pretty & Polish Meet Me At The Fishing Hole

Another poor soul from the depths of my Untried box! This one isn't that old, maybe from late spring/early summer...but still way overdue. Every polish I use gives me pangs of guilt wrapped up in snuggles of elation. My goal is to have no untrieds by 2016. I've got my work cut out for me.

Pretty & Polished Meet Me at the Fishing Hole

Todays offering is from Pretty & Polished. I definitely remember buying this in my first haul...which had to be late spring. I was so obsessed with flakes back then...everyone was, really. This polish is a fabulous example of that trend.

Pretty & Polished Meet Me at the Fishing Hole

Meet Me at the Fishing Hole is a cool aqua cream filled with green shifty flakes. I even think I see a tiny bit of a holo sparkle there...though I can't be sure because fog. I used three thin coats and slapped on a coat of SV to finish. I ended up wearing this for a good four days at least, and no real wear to be seen. I give this one an A+. It might have also helped me fall in love with even more P&P shades.

Another one down! I am working on that box and hope to someday see the bottom. I may not get through it this year...maybe by my birthday? How deep is your untried collection?

  1. This is a really pretty polish. I love when brands didn't just go for the 'flakie in clear base' formula.

I have so many untried polishes it's embarrassing. And another 100+ on the way. That doesn't count the ones I used during a swatchfest and then never wore as a full mani. Complete and utter first world problem.

  7. Oh gahd, untrieds. Let's not even go there. I'm at three fullllllllll Helmer drawers. This is a great color and totally reminds me of a mossy lake where you'd go fishing, so the name is utter perfection.

  9. This looks great on you. I would love to have no untrieds left by 2016 but I think Id have to swatch almost 600 polishes to reach that. I went though a stage of polish hoarding instead of polish wearing and I am way behind. I think I have a few from 2 years ago that I havent worn yet.

  10. Wait, I'm still obsessed with flakes. I never want thy trend to die. I could happily wear and buy flakes for the rest of forever. Lao this is gorgeous. I love the contrast of the darker green against the lighter blue.
